The developer disappeared
Whoever built the site no longer replies or has left the market. The site works, but nothing in it can be changed.
We take over someone else's project as it is: fix bugs, add features, work through unfamiliar code. The estimate is free, and we can start the same day you get in touch.
Whoever built the site no longer replies or has left the market. The site works, but nothing in it can be changed.
After an update the form stopped working, the layout fell apart, products vanished, or the site does not open at all.
Card payments, a catalogue filter, one more language, a CRM integration — and there is nobody to do it.
The site brings in enquiries, and every change looks like a risk of breaking everything. No backup, no test copy, no guarantees.
You came with two small changes and were quoted a new website for several thousand dollars.
The hosting or admin passwords are lost, there is no documentation, and nobody knows where anything is.
Error 500, white screen, endless loading.
The form stays silent or the e-mails never arrive.
After a theme or plugin update the page came undone.
Categories are empty, pictures do not load.
Including delivery calculation and shipping documents.
LiqPay, WayForPay, Stripe.
Exchange of orders, stock levels, prices.
So the customer finds and calculates on their own.
With roles and access rights.
With correct markup for search engines.
From your mockup or in the style of the existing site.
Precisely, without the risk of touching what is next to it.
So the site does not fall apart on a narrow screen.
Refreshing the identity without rebuilding the site.
With spam protection and notifications.
On a test copy, with nothing breaking on the live site.
Removing malware and foreign files, finding the entry point.
Protecting the admin area and forms from brute force.
With a check that the copy can actually be restored.
Together with the domain and SSL, with no downtime.
You pay for the time actually spent. Every hour includes the work itself, the review of the result and a backup.
When something specific needs fixing or adding.
When there are several tasks, or they keep coming up.
When the site just has to work and you would rather not think about it.
Urgent same-day tasks — a factor of 1.5. We work under a contract, with sole traders and companies, and provide closing documents.
Yes, that is the main part of this service. First we look at the state of the code and the access, and tell you honestly what can be fixed precisely and where fixing costs more than rebuilding. If rebuilding is not worth it for you, we will say so.
Nothing. You describe the task, we look at the site and within 2–4 hours tell you roughly how long the work will take. If the task turns out to be more complex than it looked, we tell you before we start, not after.
We make a backup before every change, and do serious changes on a test copy rather than on the live site. If something stops working after our change, we restore it as it was and fix it on our own time.
A common situation. Access to the hosting is usually restored through the domain registrar or the host's support desk with the owner's documents — we will tell you exactly what to ask for. The admin password can in most cases be reset from the server side.
WordPress and WooCommerce, OpenCart, Laravel, Next.js, plain hand-coded sites without a CMS, custom PHP systems. If yours is not on the list, write anyway: in most cases it is possible to make sense of it, and if not, we will say so right away.
To the nearest 15 minutes, and the report shows what every hour went on. The time includes not only the change itself but also checking the result and the backup — these are not billed separately.
The minimum stays at two hours: even a short change requires making sense of someone else's code, making a backup and checking the result. If there are several small tasks, it is cheaper to combine them into one request or take a package of hours.
